Mack McKinney

Mack McKinney has worked in the defense industry since 1975, first as an Air Force officer in command and control for 8 years and then as a projects manager and Director with Westinghouse Defense and Northrop Grumman for 16 years.  In 2000 he bought interest in a signals intelligence company, Research Associates of Syracuse, and served as VP, Director and Projects Manager for six years.  He founded Solid Thinking Corporation in 2002 and now teaches, consults and writes Concepts of Operations for Boeing, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin Skunk Works, Raytheon Missile Systems, MITRE, Booz Allen Hamilton, Northrop Grumman, all the uniformed services and others. He was awarded US patents in radar processing and hyperspectral sensing, a BA from the University of Kentucky and a Master's certificate in Global Business Management from George Washington University.  He owns a Cessna 182 aircraft, is an active flyer, a volunteer for the Airport Support Network and a Pilot Mentor in the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Brady Landing Airpark and is a member of the International Council on Systems Engineering.
